Harrington, guardian for Franklin Robinson and John Troville Jr. South Hero Be it remembered that at said South Hero on this 9th day of November AD 1880 the undersigned fence division of said town at the request of John Troville Jr. and Henry Harrington, as guardian for Franklin Robinson, the owners of the adjoining lands between whom disputes have arisen concerning the proper proportion of the division fence to be made and maintained by each other above parties and by virtue consent and direction and in the presence of both parties have on view of the premises divided the same as follows viz.: we do assigned to said John Troville Jr. all that portion of said fence beginning at the SW corner of St. John Trouville's land thence running Eastwardly on the division line between said lands of said John Troville and the said Franklin Robinson 53 1/2 links to a stake and stone … all that portion of said fence situated between the aforementioned stake and stone in the east end of the subdivision line on the brink of a high bank or bluff being 53 1/2 rods in length and in like manner certify the same… the joint erection and maintenance of said water fence so called from the top of said bank or bluff eastwardly for enough to prevent the passage of the stock of either party to the lands of the other.
