Peleg Baker (1760-1830) served as private in the 16th regiment, Albany County, New York militia, for defense of frontiers of the state. He was born in Rhode Island; died in St. Lawrence County, N. Y.

According to the Sheboygan Press (Sheboygan, Wisconsin) May 23, 1913 column 3:
“The marriage of Miss Alma Isserstedt, daughter of Chairman and Mrs. F. Isserstedt of the Town of Plymouth and Mr. Alburn J. Edick of Lewiston, Idaho, took place yesterday in this city at the parsonage of the Baptist church, the Rev. F. (or E.) E. Dresser performing the ceremony. Mr. Edick is a telegraph operator at Lewiston.”
